"The hosts were super friendly and offered to extend dinner time in their restaurant when I arrived late. Also gave indications of how to move around. The hotel is 20 mins walk to Montepulciano and 25 mins walk from the bus station. It has a great pool and Spa that can be used by paying an extra fee. The rooms were ok, not super spacious, but had a small fridge and balcony."

I saw maybe 3 cars in the parking lot and two other guests. But it was safe! Checked in and got a restaurant recommendation for Ristorante Conte Matto, ten minutes away in a small town. "Excellent hotel. Inexpensive, spotlessly clean family owned small hotel. Wonderful breakfast with freshly made cakes. Fabulous hosts. It’s located in a very small town with limited restaurants/shops nearby, but there are a couple of restaurants walking distance and Montepulciano is only a short drive. Swimming pool is great, but about a 5 minute drive away. "

"Lovely hotel with amazing views of the valley, conveniently located near to Pienza and Montepulciano. The restaurant was great, offering local foods typical of the area though they are strict about reserving in advance even as a guest. The real standout was the staff, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Wish we spent more time by the pool and on property as it was perfectly tranquil and scenic. "
