"Great hotel ideally situated to explore Murano and beyond with good links to Venice and surrounding islands only a short walk away. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are of a high standard and the bed is made daily along with a fresh supply of towels. We had a lagoon view and the gentle lapping of the water and views across the lagoon were a welcome sight each morning. Breakfast was plentiful. "Breakfast was good but no shops near by. Taxi cost 20 euros from airport. Near by but cannot walk need a taxi or car to reach. Taxi to venice £45 for 2 people sharing was good too. Room very clean, staff very helpful. "

"Excellent hotel. 50 steps from St Marks Square. Beautiful view of Gondola launch area from the room. Clean room. Modern amenities. A bit noisy from the gondola area in the morning. Ear plugs fixed that minor inconvenience. They have their own gondola launch door who appears to get priority service. The only complaint was that the shower would fluctuate from a comfortable temperature to very hot and then cold. Suspect a water pressure issue. They could benefit from pressure balancing faucets...

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The understated quality was evident from the moment we checked in when we were invited to the garden for a glass of wine whilst the check-in paperwork was done and our bags taken to the room. The happy hour, the helpful staff and the breakfast were superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be within walking distance of the beach tourist sites but still have a sort of oasis to which to retreat."
