"We were visiting Solvang for the Julefest. The location and good reviews were the main reason to book this hotel. I reached Solvang around lunchtime on checkin day. It was almost impossible to find parking anywhere. I checked with the front desk. They were gracious enough to let me park at the hotel before checkin. I also received a text when the room was ready. "The motel is quite old and worn but it is clean and fairly quiet. The big perks are that it’s walking distance to downtown Solvang and all the nice shops and restaurants and the free parking! Parking in downtown Solvang is insane with the Holiday crowds so having free parking and then walking to stuff was definitely worth the money. "

"The main reason for the great review was the cost/quality ratio. For what we paid it was a great experience. The hotel was very quiet and the room was homey. There was a fridge, a microwave, and a TV with cable and internet access. (more than some expensive hotels!) Would stay here again if in the area. "
