"Overall I had a pretty good stay. The rooms are remodeled, the beds were comfortable, and I always saw staff around cleaning and maintaining the property. You can tell they are actively taking care of the place. I also liked the breakfast voucher for the restaurant across the street. Parking was $10 a day, which wasn’t too bad. I do wish the TV and entertainment options were better.
The biggest issue was the ants. After waking up from the first night I noticed several ants around the nightstand and unfortunately some in the bed. I told the staff and they were amazing about it. They took the issue seriously, apologized, and moved me to another room without any problems.
I did end up seeing one or two ants crawling across the bed in the second room too around my last night. Since I only had a short time left in my stay, I decided not to move again. I definitely think the pest issue needs to be looked into since it happened in two different rooms.
Other than that, the staff was great and I can see the effort being put into maintaining and improving the property. I wouldn’t let the ant issue completely overshadow the rest of my stay, but it is something that needs attention."
