"This is my go to hotel in Merced. Classic property that’s been lovingly renovated. The restaurants are great at the hotel and a multitude of restaurants and bars within just a few blocks walk. Staff is excellent with super fast check-in. Rooms are beautiful. Even the least expensive room has its advantages with a classic restored look and not facing Main Street. I pointed out because Main Street at night can be very loud on weekends, especially. The hotel provides earplugs, which is certainly indication. They are aware of the noise. I should mention the noise is from the people out at the bar and driving up and down Main Street. Some revving of engines and motorcycles. That’s kind of a classic downtown California thing but if you’re not used to it, you should ask for a room towards the back of the hotel, which are much quieter. Overall, I love this place."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Los Banos

"Unfortunately when I was there, the pool was closed for maintenance. I was super disappointed because the pool looked beautiful. Clean, spacious room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had cereal, yogurt, breads, waffles, eggs, and sausage. Nice hotel, would stay here again."

"Good place to stay for a quick night for work. Room clean, bed comfortable, TV had Netflix option which was a big plus for me. I didn’t make breakfast but the coffee available was good. Parking spaces are a bit tight."

"The staff is nice and first a couple of days it was bad then they switch me to a different part of the hotel , it was way nicer , has coffee maker and k cup coffee , 2 towels instead of one . "

"This location is easy to find. Friendly staff. Quick check-in. No breakfast but many restaurant options nearby. Costco is 5 min away.
Beautiful grounds, lots of roses.
The room is basic but clean. Good water pressure in the shower. The mattress was a little soft but excellent linens. The room includes a microwave, mini fridge and a coffee Keurig machine.
Not bad for $65. I would stay again. "

"Staff was very helpful and friendly. I’ve stayed here one other time and will DEFINITELY stay here when I’m in the area. It’s an ECONOMY motel… but the bed is very comfortable and the room is nicely decorated… but a little smaller than full fare places… but that’s expected for the price. I didn’t see a phone in the room… but 95% of people would use their cell phone. A couple of small critiques I have is the sink stopper was missing and there was no shower mat (towel) to use after showering.
I will probably stay here on my way from Las Vegas 3 times a year! I travel several times a year and stay in 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ a LOT or on nice cruise lines. This was not that… but the bank-for-your-$$ is great here!"

"Man where do I start , when you first come in this place looks like a place from skid row. Nothing compared to the pictures online. So this hotel used to be a comfort inn now it’s called rancho inn. Rooms are old and need cleaning. If your by the room 135 be prepared to stay up all night because there’s kids yelling till 12pm. You got people talking like if there’s a them park outside"
