Excellent facility but we were there at the very beginning of the season and the pool and hot tub were not yet open so we can’t comment on those. The outdoor furniture also needed a little freshening up for the season. The location was beautiful, quiet and calming with spectacular views of Mount Etna. There were shared kitchen and laundry facilities which were very handy. We enjoyed a wine tasting with our dinner in the restaurant on our first night which was very informative and fun. San Michele is conveniently located for accessing Mount Etna and the small towns nearby (which have some good restaurants) and has easy access to the highway to visit nearby cultural sites like Taormina, Catania and Syracusa. The staff was very friendly and efficient and many spoke some English. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend San Michele to others.

Nice stay, gorgeous view
Staying here was lovely! Location: Though not in a town centre, we really liked the location as it pitted us between things to do and itself provided enough character for us to lounge about. The view by the pool, or of the volcano at sunset is just stellar! Room: The room was nice, nothing life-altering. That said, it was wonderfully quiet, yet there was still enough of a vibe at the restaurant in the evenings if you wanted to do the daily free wine tasting (yum!) and hang about to chat or play cards etc. Breakfast: Breakfast was decently nice and changed a bit every day. Staff: Check-in and some logistics were not as easy as they could have been. It felt like we were one of many passing through their door (due to the fact that they do daily vineyard tours and have groups come through) and we had distractedly kind service. That said, Luna from the Housekeeping staff was the BEST! Second to none, frankly, the woman needs a raise!

Must stay!

Great place with an amazing view and great pool
Everything was great. The staff is very service minded. The restaurant is very good and the wine produced is excellent (especially the Prosecco), There were two drawbacks, the bed wasn’t that comfortable and there are mosquitoes that seems to be extra hungry for some tourist blood 🙁

Lovely setting near the foothills of Mt. Etna. The staff were so polite and inviting. Tranquil respite among the vineyards with views of the volcano. Wonderful wine and food. The pool is relaxing and inviting.

Tenuta San Michele is spectacular! The rooms are very comfortable but what made it special was the attention of the staff. They did everything they could to make our stay memorable. The food and wine were incredible!

We had a wonderful stay! It was easy to locate with plenty of parking. Our room had a nice view, and was quiet and comfortable. The pool was amazing for the hot days, with a fridge stocked with Murgo wine to enjoy. Breakfast was a great way to start the day. It was nice to have the option to have dinner on site, and there was plenty within close driving distance as well. Incredible views of Mount Etna and a great starting place for the south or north ends of the park, as well as visiting the wineries. And there were 3 adorable dogs which just added to the experience!

Excellent
Tenuta San Michele is excellent. The grounds are beautiful, rooms clean. The food is great - by far the best breakfasts we had in Sicily, dinner is delicious, we ate all 3 nights we were there, tons of food (the pastas were so good). Staff is friendly, even made us a prepared breakfast for are early morning departure! The location is close to etna, taormina, catania, coast. I would love to stay here again one day.

Amazing vineyard stay
Amazing and quiet place to stay with superb views of Mt Etna and the sea. Comfortable rooms with all you need for a great relaxing stay. Large quiet swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Amazing restaurant with superb wine from their own vineyard..

It has beautiful views and it's safe quiet and peaceful. Staff will go out of their way to be helpful. The pool is exquisite. The location is ideal for day trips to Taormina, Mt. Etna, as well as the city of Catania and the airport.

Rustikale Unterkunft auf einem Weingut
Leider wurden verschiedene Bauarbeiten ringsum die Poolanlage ohne Rücksicht auf die Gäste (Abschleifen von Liegen in 5m Entfernung). Verschmutzte Bettlaken ( von Vorgästen) wurden nicht gewechselt. Das Essen, der Wein und das Ambiente im Restaurant sowie das hierzugehörige Preisleistungsverhältnis war ausgezeichnet.

Sorry for the unconvinient of the linen. is the first time that I hear such a comment. . Now the work on the pool is over and the swimming pool area is wonderfull!!!

Excellent place to rest, relax, and enjoy
Beautiful setting at a vineyard. Magnificent view of Mt. Etna and the Mediterranean Sea. Quiet apartment offers all the space that one needs to relax. Helpful staff makes check-in fast and arranges jeep tour of Mt. Etna. Complimentary welcome package at check-in that includes red and white wines, bottled water, cheeses and salamis is a treat. Terrific restaurant that serves excellent breakfast and lunch. What more can one ask?

Very beautiful views, but no a/c
Perfect setting, lovely people, delicious restaurant for dinner. Nice pool with views of Mt Etna. Wonderful breakfast. A very special place. Excellent value. The only issue was the room did not have good ventilation and was very hot, with fans that were ineffective. With better ventilation (or in cooler weather) it would be excellent. As it is, it could be challenging in hot weather. In spite of this I would stay again.

Fabulous Etna winery
The rooms of this winery hotel overlook the Mediterranean and sit in the shadow of Mt Etna. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and are steps away from the pool. The family style dinner served nightly, with excellent wine, was one of the highlights of our trip.

Hotel tranquilo al pie del Etna
Lo mejor el emplazamiento, si se quiere un lugar tranquilo ente viñedos al pie del Etna y con vistas al mar. Los servicios irregulares, pueden mejorarse. Desayuno bueno pero poco variado.. Restaurante bajo un emparrado donde se pueden tomar los vinos de la propiedad a muy buen precio. Probamos el blanco, muy fresco y agradable. El espacio de la piscina muy agradable. En cambio internet funciona fatal.

Terrific View of Mount Etna, Delicious Wine
Our room/suite was clean spacious and comfortable. We had access to a very pleasant patio with a spectacular view of the Mount Etna and this Agriturismo's vineyard. Part of our stay was a sampling of the proprietor's wines which were very nice. The sampling was served with our dinner which was started off in a family style serving, with individual plates for the main courses. The food was tasty and plentiful, the atmosphere was fun—like a big family getting together to celebrate.

Beautiful setting for hotel
Very restful stay only spoilt by lack of air conditioning. Noisy ceiling fan is inadequate when the temperature at night is in the high 20s. Excellent restaurant and beautiful views all round.

In the proximity to magnificent Mount Etna.
The accommodation in a vineyard setting with the view of Mt. Etna was a lovely contrast to the busy urban historic centres on our visit to Sicily.

Working agriturismo with excellent restaurant
After a slightly rocky start where our Italian and our receptionist's English weren't quite a match (thought we were checking out when we were only checking in), we really enjoyed our stay here. We are at the restaurant both nights and liked the food and wine immensely, and also did a wine tasting that was delicious. The focus is on producing great wine rather than being a hotel, but they still did a lovely job of looking after their guests.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit auf der Tenuta. Das Appartement war nicht luxeriös, aber stilvoll und gemütlich. Die Dusche könnte intensiver sein und das Bett etwas komfortabler, zumindest für Senioren. Unbedingt die Küche genießen, sehr gut und üppig, der Wein phänomenal, auch gutes Frühstück! Ingesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.
