"This stay was fantastic from start to finish. Arriving at the hotel by rental car was easy, there’s a large entry zone to park your car and check in/unload bags. They added parking for my car at no charge, and the parking zone is immediately to the left of the entrance.
Our room was immaculate, it reminded me of a stay at a brand new Secrets Resort in Mexico a few years ago. Large rooms, high ceilings, excellent bathroom amenities. A nice plus is the tv has the ability to show you all the hotel information, along with your current bill.
We swam at the rooftop unheated pool and the indoor heated pool. Both were fantastic and very enjoyable. The rooftop of the resort had multiple levels, to which if you keep climbing they have fruit and herb gardens overtop, and a steep rock staircase to a viewpoint well above the resort.
I’m not sure if it’s when we were there, or the design of the resort, but everything felt like there was plenty of space, and availability. We never had to wait anywhere, nothing was packed. The buffet changes daily and is great for breakfast and dinner.
The resort is positioned in a smaller beach town of Madeira, and has excellent vibes for walking nearby for lunch or swimming.
