Chambres bien agencées, petit déjeuner directement dans la chambre et le pain amené frais du matin! La dame qui était là nous a bien conseillé et rendu service plusieurs fois :) Seul point négatif, salle de bain glaciale et humide. Heureusement dans la chambre il y avait de l'air conditionné!

schöne Anlage, von innen leider katastrophal

Sehr nette Betreiber, leider ist die Unterkunft total feucht und riecht extrem muffig. Das Bad ist die reinste Katastrophe, das Abwasser kommt aus dem Boden (Fliesenfugen) raus, riecht wie in einer öffentlichen Toilette. Die Sofakissen im Wohnzimmer sind voller Flecken. Bei der Bettwäsche bzw. Bettdecke, bestehend aus einem Bettlaken + Kolderdecke prangte auf der Kolder ein dunkler unübersehbarer Fleck. Das Frühstück wird einem am Vortag in den Kühlschrank gelegt und jeden Morgen frisches warmes Brot an die Tür gehängt. Leider gibt es keinen frischen Kaffee sondern nur Instantkaffee und zum Belegen jeden Morgen das gleiche 1 Sorte Käse + 1 Sorte Schinken (immer die gleiche Sorte) und selbstgemachten Kompott im Glas der bei Verbrauch nachgefüllt wird (auch nur 1 Sorte vorhanden). Die Lage ist wunderbar und auch die Anlage an sich, wenn man sich ein bisschen mehr Mühe machen würde, vor allem was Sauberkeit, Instandhaltung, Einrichtung angeht.

Calm and cosy

We had a very nice stay at casas do pomar. The staff and the owner were very friendly and give us good recommendations about tours around santana. The room were very cosy and the beds soft. We had a big terrace to enjoy our included breakfast. The room was cleaned every day. For animal friends it's a great place. You have sweet cats around the neighborhood, also chickens and goats. Perfect for recreation.

Excellent, couldn't fault it

For us this was a perfect stay, couldn't fault it. Lovely people, so generous, kind and thoughtful. An abundance of fresh produce daily left. Lovely accommodation, clean, with own small garden and patio with hammock. Private and peaceful - just what we wanted. A short walk to the centre of Santana with bars, restaurants and shops. Thank you to hosts Esteva and Monica - we would love to come back.

Beau complexe avec vue

Complexe hôtelier en situation montagneuse donc paisible, silencieux, de tout repos à qui le veut bien. À peu de distance à pied des principaux services: restauration, information, transportation, etc... Randonnée, océan via téléférique, visites diverses à Santana même. Sans oublier Ivo et Monica dont la présence fût très appréciée.

Fantastic place to stay

More than exceeded our expectations of a rural getaway. Fresh bread delivered each morning was a delight. Spacious accommodation and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Santana is a brilliant base for exploring the area - levada walks are stunning and easily accessible.

Schönes, ruhiges Hotel

Wir hatte einen Mietwagen, so daß wir von Santana aus einige schöne Touren gemacht haben. Satellitenfernsehen funktionierte nicht, wir haben dann deutsches TV über Internet geschaut. WLAN war sehr gut. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltigmit frischem Brot.

How this hotel is classified with 4 stars I do not understand. It is a nice place, but 4 stars is too much. Food gets high scores? Which foods? The breakfast is "ok" (bag at the door handle each morning) not "delicious". Coupon with 10% discount to nearby resturant. Even if you pay me to go back there, I will not do it. The hotel is "okay". No more.

Maisonnette à Santana

Très bon accueil. La maisonnette est confortable et nous avons tous essayé et profité du hamac sur la terrasse! L'idée du pain frais livré chaque matin à la porte est vraiment une très bonne idée (le pain est différent chaque jour et toujours très bon). Une remarque: le séjour/salon est sombre mais je suppose que c'est conçu pour garder la pièce fraiche lorsqu'il fait très chaud. Merci pour ce séjour

Sehr schöne Häuschen in ruhiger Lage

Wir waren mit unserer Tochter im Juli 2016 auf Madeira. Die Häuschen sind einfach klasse!!! Da sie so " verschachtelt " gebaut und angelegt sind, kann man seinen Urlaub mit viel Ruhe genießen. Die Einrichtung ist vollkommen in Ordnung und wir hatten genug Platz, um uns abends zu erholen. Super ist auch, dass am Morgen frisch gebackenes Brot an die Haustüre gehängt wird. Der Kühlschrank wird am Tage immer neu aufgefüllt mit Belag, Yoghurt und anderen Dingen die man zum Frühstück braucht. Sehr lecker!!! Man kann sich vor allem, die Zeit zum frühstücken, selber einteilen. Der Besitzer und sein Team sind äußerst gastfreundlich und gerne bei der Urlaubsplanung behilflich. Es waren super Tipps dabei!!! Zu empfehlen ist auch das Restaurant in der Nähe!! Dort gab es super leckeres Essen in ordentlichen Portionen für nicht viel Geld. Wir würden jederzeit dort wieder Urlaub machen :-)

Lieu à éviter

Nous y sommes passés en février 2016. Chambre humide, sentant le renfermé, salle de bain avec rideau de douche sale, pas chauffée, frigo rouillé à cause de l'humidité ambiante, petit déjeuner à se faire soi-même (le seul luxe étant d'avoir du pain livré d jour à 8h). Plus quelques moustiques la nuit... Nous avions prévu d'y rester 2 nuits. J'ai eu le tort de payer le total en arrivant, mais nous avons décidé de partir après la 1ère nuit vu l'ambiance. Le boss (ainsi que l'appelle la personne de l'accueil au demeurant très accueillante !) n'a pas daigné me proposer un remboursement, même partiel. Bref, pas très commerçant...donc dernière raison pour ne pas y passer...!!!

Très bon séjour à Casas de pomar

Séjour de 3 nuits à Casas do Pomar. Parfait pour une famille avec 2 enfants car logement de bon confort avec 2 chambres + coin cuisine + jardin;service quotidien de ménage. Nous avions une voiture avec GPS. Le petit déjeuner est simple et se prend dans le logement: le frigo est approvisionné chaque jour et le pain frais est accroché à la porte le matin. Le site est très beau, sans doute assez humide; le chauffage a bien fonctionné (nous avons malheureusement eu 3 jours de pluie).

Petit etablisment familial très accuillant

Pratique pour départ des randos en montagne et levadas. Vous habitez dans une petite maisonnette avec terrasse-jardin. Coin-cuisine dans chaque appart. Petit déjeuner dans votre frigo. On vous met à la porte le savoreux pain fait maison à 8 h. du matin. Nous avons eu de la chance de prendre le dinner fait maison avec très bon produits (espetada sur les branches du laurier inclus). Experience inoubliable!

Fantastisk hyggeligt familiedrevet feriested

Vi boede 18 dage på Casa do Pomar og var super glade for det. Det er et fantastisk hyggeligt sted, hvor man bor i egen hytte eller lejlighed (½ hytte). Stedet drives af en familie (eller i hvert fald ejeren, hans far og lillesøsteren, ligesom ejerens kæreste/kone også hjælper til, og der er én rengøringsdame, som man får snakket lige så meget med, så selv om hun måske ikke er familie, virker det hele meget intimt og familiært). Det er ikke kæmpestort, men der er, hvad man skal bruge (et par kogeplader, køleskab, elkedel, mikroovn samt selvfølgelig seng, tøjskab og cafesæt på terrassen). Der er minibar med øl, sodavand og vin. Hver morgen hænger ejeren en pose med friskbagt brød på dørhåndtaget, og der er smør, ost, skinke, hjemmelavet marmelade, mælk, kakao, vand og juice i køleskabet til den inkluderede morgenmad. Køleskabet fyldes op hver dag i forbindelse med den daglige rengøring. Hvis man planlægger at bruge meget tid i hytten, kan vi kun anbefale, at man giver lidt ekstra for en stor lejlighed (egen hytte) - det er alle pengene værd med et ordentligt køkken, spisested og sofa, især hvis man rejser med et barn. Pga. de mange trapper og stejle skråninger, vil vi nok ikke anbefale at bo her med mindre børn. Det var dog ikke noget problem med en spædbarn, der endnu ikke kunne kravle.

Bei uns Ende September viel Regen und feuchte Luft

Sehr hübsche Stadt, tolle Atmosphäre, wenig Touris, angenehme Temperaturen, superschöne Insel. Zu unserer Zeit Ende September jeden Tag Regen und sehr feuchte Luft in Santanta, oftmals sogar Gewitter und sinnflutartige Niederschläge. Die Anlage ist so gelegen und bewachsen, dass sich Feuchtigkeit auch bei weniger schlechtem Wetter hält. Bei uns war die Luft im Raum immer feucht und die Kleidung wurde klamm bzw. trocknete nicht mehr und begann moderig zu riechen. Wir sind jeden Tag weg gefahren um selbst Sonne zu bekommen und haben unsere Wäsche im Auto getrocknet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Tolles Hotel im Naturschutzgebiet

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal mit unseren kleinen Tochter in diesem Hotel (zuletzt vor zwei Jahren). Da es in Santana wie auch im restlichen Norden von Madeira eher feucht ist, hat man in diesem etwas älteren Hotel ein Problem die Zimmer trocken zu halten. Der Service und das Frühstück auf dem Zimmer sind klasse. Man bekommt jeden Morgen frisches Brot an die Zimmertür gehängt. Der Juniorchef ist sehr um seine Gäste bemüht. Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal.

sehr freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer war etwas feucht und der Kühlschrank hat die ganze Nacht gebrummt. aber das frische und warme Brot am Morgen hat alles wieder gut gemacht. 2-3 Nächte kann man dort gut verbringen.

super sauf le petit dejeuner.

Très agréables petites maisons individuelles dans un endroit très calme favorisant un bon sommeil. Bon confort. Seul bémol le petit déjeuner: hormis le pain frais cuit au feu de bois déposé à la porte, pas de bon jus de fruits( briquettes à base de jus concentré...), le jambon aggloméré pas bon, yaourts arômes artificiels, et en guise de café une petite dosette 1er prix imbuvable. dommage!!!

Die Casas do Pomar sind kleine Häuschen in einer schönen Gartenanlage zur Selbstversorgung. In der Ausschreibung stand allerdings "Frühstück inbegriffen" - erwartet haben wir uns, dass Frühstück serviert wird, aber es befand sich alles im Kühlschrank - nicht das, was wir erwartet haben.
