After a long wait for our flight back to London and then be cancelled a nice place to rest is all we needed. "Beautiful hotel and grounds! Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food! A wonderful all inclusive experience. We had a beautiful room with an extra large balcony with partial view. Room was always cleaned daily and towels changed. We enjoyed the location, the ample parking and the grounds. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and we all enjoyed the buffet, kulinarium restaurant and the evening shows. We are already planning our next trip there! Thank you for a beautiful holiday week Riu Madeira! "

"The hotel natural estate was beautiful, the grounds were in there own gardens , the staff very friendly , everything so clean and helpful. Everything was exceptional. The restaurant was very interesting and good , breakfast was so delightful with all the fruits and choices to eat. It is a 5 star excellent hospitality. The outside pool was lovely as well as indoor spa. Not hot but refreshing. "

"A great apartment on the edge of the old town. Fab views of the sea and of the local area - great for people watching. Good size living / kitchen area with well appointed cooking area. Full sized fridge freezer which is always a bonus. Bedroom at the back with a small rooflight window - no aircon - but a decent fan in both areas. Walk in bathroom/ shower was without a window and limited mechanical extraction - so had a v damp smell - a design fault - but had to keep that door closed. But the...

"Maybe our fault but when traveling afar things need to be absolutely transparent, clear and easy. We arrived at location (paid to get there) only to be dropped off and find out had to walk 1/2 mile to another building just to get a code to get in building. Get to alternate location only to find out there are more fees/taxes to pay - all fees should be posted when booking a location. Otherwise just know there is some street noise but good location, clean and safe. "

"This was a perfect location for a stay in Madiera. Nice view, free parking, and all the amenities anyone could want in the room. So many thoughtful extras like wine, bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, washing machine and drying rack, etc. I would definitely stay again. "
