"If you like a vintage motel that reminds you of a way back motor lodge, this is the perfect place for you. No phone in the room with everyone having cell phones now. The walk to the office is simple and short. Free coffee! Great ice machine and Coke vending machine. It was very low-key and not many people since they don’t have a lot of rooms. So nice! The area is safe with modern conveniences close. There’s a Publix and Dollar General within walking distance. We did need to Uber to the beach but it was inexpensive. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and brunch and has amazing homemade cinnamon rolls and homemade donuts on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The food is excellent anytime. The pool was a perfect temp and very relaxing. Handy to get to from any room. Loved the French doors in the room to get to the courtyard and pool. The staff there are wonderful. Extremely nice and helpful. You see them cleaning almost 24 seven a day. It’s a family run business. I had an issue with the microwave in my room and it was immediately replaced. I will definitely go back. Great rates for a FL vacation and get away. It wouldn’t be the place for you if you expect tons of amenities and modern touches, but it was ideal for me!"
