"Overall an amazing place to stay in kuching, especially if your looking for somewhere with some character. The place is rustic with a few little bits which arent perfect, but place is really interesting, with lot of history and also really clean. The hotel is near the old town and china town, with lots of bar and restaurants nearby and short was to the river front. "The hotel is clean and safe. The only thing is the cardio room. The equipment needs to be sanitized, at least once a day. People using the equipment do not have anything to wipe them down after use. This is true especially for the treadmills that get sweated on and not cleaned properly."

"The hotel is simple but decent, located pretty close to waterfront and most places of interest are in walkable range from here. You can find bars, restaurants (the is a good breakfast restaurant right behind and the famous Ceylonese Restaurant next to it), 7-eleven. The was a slight funky smell in the shower and this could be improved. They also let us check in early which was nice bonus for us. "
