"A fantastic hotel in a perfect location. It's very close to the Bellecour statue, making it easy to navigate the city. The area felt safe day and night. I loved being able to walk everywhere: the museums, the beautiful historic side of Lyon, and plenty of great bars were all just minutes away. Highly recommended for those who want to see Lyon on foot."

"Rooms very nice. While the room itself was classic European, the bathroom was very upscale and new. Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Location in old town, on one floor of a residential apartment building, we walked a bit to restaurants. Be aware there are three steps up to the one person elevator and managing luggage is awkward. I am 70 and did fine."

"Our American family of four traveled from EuroDisney to Lyon and stayed in the Vertigo Suite at Mihotel and wow, what a gem! The moment we walked in, my kids exclaimed, “This is the best hotel room ever!” My wife was equally amazed and joked that she wanted to come back — but next time, without the kids. The suite is simply breathtaking: nearly 4-meter ceilings, beautiful ornate wall paneling, original hardwood floors, and a one-bedroom layout that feels straight out of Architectural Digest....

"MHL was exactly what we wanted for our first international, family trip. The entrance to the room was private and the room more like an Air BnB with the perk of cleaning services. This made our room feel like home away from home. The location was excellent with easy access to public transportation, a parking garage nearby, delicious cafes and restaurants all around us, and within walking distance to Old Lyon. Our host regularly checked in with us to if we needed anything, including information...

"The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were cosy and very clean. Lovely walk in shower. The TV only has french channels but you can log into YouTube and watch you favourite. Breakfast was lovely and starts from 6am-10am. Everyone was so lovely in this hotel and the area was lovely too. Thank you to the staff for making us feel at home for 5 days 🙏😁"

"A charming hotel with a great vibe. All of the staff from the front desk to the cleaners were super helpful, friendly and welcoming. There is nice communal space to relax and lots of information on local attractions. Our room was a little basic but clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a kettle in the room with tea/coffee bags available for free at reception, where you could also find a daily detox fruit drink...very welcome after a heavy night. The real gem though is the attached jazz...
