"The hotel was clean and well kept, including the pool/hot tub area. The breakfast was excellent (eggs, sausages, waffles, fruit, yogurt parfait station, along with your usual). Views were great out the very large windows. Check in and out was super quick. Parking was free, and although it was a busy long weekend - still was able to find parking."

"Rooms are great. Not so great facing the city side. City side view is awful. Hot tub was closed down for the long weekend. Pool was cloudy. We were given a room up grade but had to waste a lot of the day waiting for it. We were told 1:00 pm, and we finally just left our things in our room to go out. Didn’t get room service the last night. I called 3 times and nothing. Finally after 20 hours they brought us coffee and some toilet paper. The hotel offers free shuttle service to...

"The staff were amazingly helpful, friendly, and lovely. The antique bones of the hotel are great, including touches like exposed brick in the bathroom; this could be a very nice boutique hotel - and it still is nice- but it needs a little updating and TLC at this point (and ideally not a noisy boozy smelling pub attached, but to each their own I guess; i get that Winston’s is considered an epic staple in Saskatoon). Some noise proofing from the busy downtown street would help a lot too....

"Stained and burnt sheets, bad smelling elevator. I didn’t feel safe leaving my vehicle outside. The people that hang around that property are not top notch ( if you catch my drift)…Makes you feel unsafe. We left shortly after check in. I felt loosing the price of the room and paying again to stay somewhere else would be cheaper than having my truck broken into. Definitely would not recommend."

Checked out immediately (did not stay the night), staff told us we could get a refund through Expedia but 5 days later they have still not responded to Expedia’s emails and phone calls, so we are out CAD 144. "I like the convenient location"

"Bed was pretty good, other than that, ther was no toilet paper in the room, just a hand towel and face cloth, rust rings in tub, paint peeling off all the walls, a tv that you needed a telescope to see, two wooden chairs and a tiny sticky table, doos look like they were kicked in and poorly repaired, floors were sticky. I wasn't expecting 5 star, but wow, that was terrible. Will never go there again."
