The Briers

10/10 Excellent

"We have stayed before and we'll definitely be back. Such a lovely peaceful place, perfect for quiet getaways and close enough to Newcastle for the more active."

Avoca Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice rooms, lovely staff and great location. Have stayed before and will do again."

Arthurs

10/10 Excellent

"Well communicated contactless check in, beautiful property and rooms, cute little town, and the breakfast was good! Coffee was great, Charlie makes a great flat white! Parking can be a little bit of a nuisance, and like many historical properties no elevator so if you need help with your luggage plan ahead as the property is not always staffed. Lovely. Also Forrest Park is not to far down the road if you would like a lovely walk around the lake. the Parson's Nose is quite good as a dinner option - in walking distance of the property."

"Excellent all around. Top marks!"

"We had a fantastic stay! The hotel was beautiful, spotless, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pool staff were also fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again!"

Strangford Arms Hotel Newtownards
