"Apt was great and spacious, its very convenient to Pitt and CMU but entrance is in a side street that feels like an alley and the immediate area doesn’t feel like a neighborhood so that was only downside. No decaf coffee offered (but the Yemeni coffee shop 2 blocks away was AWESOME). "Google Maps does 461 no justice, but FYI, you're right in the middle of bustling, ethnic, college/hospital center North Oakland. A great deal for parents visiting kids at Pitt or Carnegie. Clean. Spacious. Nice amenities. Walkable to many attractions. Alex from 3E was super attentive, in one instance responding in under a minute when we locked ourselves out of the apartment. "

"I actually got the "suite" for a family member and his sons. Unfortunately, the pre-teens became mischievous after my family member fell asleep (after a long funeral service). Security called and texted me several times to let me know about their misbehavior. I understood. What I did not appreciate was the tenor of the persons tone as he threatened a few times to "call the cops," even after I assured him that I had reached my family member. "Biggest complaint is that the shower design was very poor and even when the door was closed completely water was running out of the shower onto the floor outside making it very dangerous. Additionally, there was no fan in the bathroom which was less than ideal. The actual bedroom area was very nice, parking was safe and plentiful, and there are a lot of restaurants nearby.
