"We enjoyed our stay at Mercure Hotel Aachen. The room was clean and staff quickly responded to our request for extra pillows (we originally only had one each). All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good. Not much noise outside considering how busy the Christmas markets were, so we slept comfortably. "

The toilet was immediately to the left of the door, but the sink, shower and tub were around the corner. I found that odd. There was an electric kettle in the room with a few tea and instant coffee selections, and a mini fridge. The room size was good with two windows that you could open. I came in by train and you can take bus 3 or 13 to the Hansemannplatz stop. Cross the street to Peterstraße and the hotel is down on the left. Easy to get to and a short walk further down Peterstraße gets you towards the old town. "

"Very interesting place for a hotelbto be located. Loads of history as the site of a very old Catholic Church and Priesthood school and learning centre. Also has its own brewery and vine yard. Great location for walking into Kerkrade centre."
