"Such a wonderful little place, right outside of Bangor, but close enough to go and do. This wasn't the best stay - groundskeeper started weed-eating right beside my room at 8am. Very unsettling. Carpet cleaning started at 9am. Not the most relaxing encounter. I do love this place, but this visit was not the best version. Beds are comfy, 4 pillows per bed (we did double beds this round). Hot water was fabulous! The whole room is large and comfy. Easy parking. Right off the main road. My new favorite place to stay when visiting the area. The staff are so friendly and helpful!"
"Perfect location. Easy walk to downtown and harbor. Staff very helpful and attentive. Breakfast OK. On site free parking always had spots available. Would stay there again for sure!"
"We flew home from Bangor. The hotel was unbelievably convenient. We returned our rental car and walked directly to the hotel. It is connected by a skywalk to the airport, too. Updated, comfortable rooms and a good restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. An updated departures screen in the lobby. Noise was not a problem."
"This is the most beautiful place to stay for a night, couple of days, or a week. My husband and I will be back as soon as we can. The landscaping is amazing, clean rooms, and bathroom..and best of all if you leave something by mistake, they make sure you get it back right away!!
What a wonderful staff too"
"Magical stay at a historic property. LOVED reading books on the verandah, evening wine by the fire pit, meeting people from all over the world, and the excellent breakfast. The staff was kind and very welcoming. Wish we'd stayed longer!"
"The inn looks as though it was renovated recently and was wonderfully clean, comfortable and homey. We stayed in a king suite which was spacious. The bed was comfortable and it had king size pillows not the “biscuit” pillows like other hotels. The staff was very friendly. Check in and check out was very quick. We had a great breakfast and the area was kept very clean with the staff constantly filling the food stations and wiping down the areas. The pool area was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub and the large pool. We liked the location because it was close enough to everything but not right in the middle of town. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back."
