"Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful! Fresh cookies for our kids, dog treats for our dog. We forgot a few things and they had it all and so happy to help. View of River from balcony was pretty and great location! Short walk to beach, shops, restaurants. "

"Hillcrest inn was a treat, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the room although being in an older property was clean and comfy with a nostalgic charm that I am personally fond of. There’s a sauna, snacks, coffee, and a large dvd selection in the main office. What a great little getaway to bring in the new year! We will be back there soon for sure!"

We have spent more money on other accommodations that were more spacious, this room was a little more cozy, but otherwise provided everything the more costly properties provided. "I loved the location, really close to the beach and walking distance to downtown. The place was clean, no A/C, could use a couple fans for warm nights while sleeping. I needed extra tp and towels, all I had to do was call and they brought them over. I do wish there was a broom and dustpan. Being so close to the beach, we did track in sand. We stayed several days, so it would've been nice to be able to clean up a bit. Other than that, it was great. "
