"The things that were great about the Paramount Hotel IMO were the staff. Everyone who has face time with the guests were super friendly and accommodating to needs or concerns. The location of the hotel was also great. You can walk to so many hot spots in Portland. The beds were also comfortable and the hotel itself seemed to be clean. Our room however was a little dirty with sticky spots on the carpet and hair in the shower before we even used it. The handle on the toilet would get stuck...

"Great location. We walked everywhere. Food, bars, transportation, pharmacy was not too far, groceries next door, walked to the Hop On Hop Off Trolley. It was not that far from the hotel. Staff was great. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. Definitely our choice of hotel for whenever we come back to Portland. Thank you."

"This is the cutest place - retro but totally modern. Absolutely spotlessly clean. The man at the desk is very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, fantastic memory foam pillows, and completely new bathrooms. Easy to get to, and a straight shot to the airport."

"The locations proximity to things like stumptown, Powells books etc is great and the staff is so nice. The hotel has a design flaw though and the walls are paper thin. Fortunately, they realize this and they have white noise machines in every room. They also have black out curtains. The rooms are a little bare bones but I appreciated those two things in comparison to some other Portland hotels that were higher end doing nothing for noise"

"The hotel was in good location but unfortunately, the bar, restaurant were close when we arrived. We were there by 4pm"

"The location was good, very close to public transit. The restaurant on the top floor was nice. Water pressure in the shower was barely enough to rinse out a sock, let alone a full soapy head of hair. The stay was okay for the money."

"Wonderful guesthouse in a cozy area of Portland. Really appreciated the gluten-free muffins and snacks available on site for family members with Celiac Disease."

"We liked the rooftop wine welcome with live music, the interesting interior and the large size of our room, that the kitchenette was well equipped and the location of this hotel. Front desk staff was fabulous. 4 stars because the floors in our room weren't clean and the couch needs to be cleaned or replaced."

"Very nice hotel but valet parking is way too expensive $54/day. Up the street one block at Crown Plaza self parking is $24 for 24 hours. IN addition to the room rate there are all of the tax that all hotels charge but the hotel also charges an addition $30/day fee that is waved if you eat in their restaurant that has great food but expensive."
