Hotel Delfín
8/10 Good
"A modern and exceptionally clean hotel, with a good choice of both meat and vegetarian dishes at breakfast. The location is excellent. Our Moventis shuttle from Girona Airport arrived at and departed from the bus station, which was just an easy five-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is situated on a busy, touristy road lined with shops, which is ideal for seaside essentials, souvenirs and gifts. There are also plenty of useful amenities nearby, including two supermarkets, a bakery and a pharmacy. Despite being on a busy road, the hotel was not noisy at all. The main and largest beach, Platja Gran, is only a few minutes' walk away, as are the Vila Vella (the beautiful fortified medieval old town) and a couple of lovely churches including the parish church. I personally needed to see a doctor during our stay, and one of the receptionists was extremely helpful in directing us to the local public primary care health centre, the CAP, which fortunately was only a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. This was particularly reassuring and greatly appreciated. As our check-out was quite early, the hotel very kindly prepared a picnic breakfast for us, including sandwiches, water, orange juice, fruit, butter, margarine, cutlery and more. It was a lovely and thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the saltwater rooftop pool and bar. It is smaller than the pools at many other hotels, but charming nevertheless with great views of Tossa especially at night !!"

"Resort feel in a wonderful town with a short walk to a picturesque beach in tossa de mar. We travelled from the US with my 7 and 5 year olds and they loved the pools, shows, kids club and the buffet!!"

"Très bon séjour au sein de l’hôtel. Emplacement Top, aménagement très bien, propreté très bien, personnel très agréable. Un très bon séjour en famille. Quelques points méritent une petite amélioration : - Animation : moyen, il y a surement mieux à faire pour la journée - soucis des ascenseurs parfois très très long selon les horaires. Merci Alba Seleqtta pour nos très bonnes vacances !"

RVHotels Mar de Tossa
8/10 Good
"We were incredibly lucky to even find a last-minute room in a hotel in Tossa de Mar in August, are you kidding? The room was adequate. Me, my mom & my two college-age kids had a place to lay our heads. It’s extremely basic, but Tossa de Mar isn’t a place where you’re going to hang out in your hotel room. Note on the parking: if you are given the option to pay for parking, you will park in a lot about 3 blocks NE of the hotel, next to a major supermarket. In theory, there are temporary spots in front of the adjunct wing of the hotel (across the street) where you can park while you check in. But they’ll probably be occupied. So don’t count on it. It will be loud outside until 2am. It’s a beach town in Spain. Don’t whine. There are countless bodegas and cafes within 2 blocks. To clarify; this hotel has two locations facing each other. The breakfast/dinner cafeteria is in the one to the north, the pool is in the one to the south. You will be given a code to get into both buildings."

"A charming, comfortable stay in a great location I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is very clean and has a traditional character that I really liked—it adds to the charm and atmosphere of the place. Despite the very hot weather outside, the room temperature was perfect. It was comfortable and well maintained, with a pleasant ambient temperature without feeling overly cold from the air conditioning. The location is excellent, very close to the station and also very close to the beach. I especially loved having a balcony—it made the stay even more enjoyable. Check-in was also very easy and straightforward. I was surprised by some of the reviews saying that it was complicated. In my experience, it was simply the normal modern process of online check-in, and everything went smoothly. Overall, I had a lovely stay and would happily recommend the hotel. Don’t be put off by the reviews about check-in—it was easy and hassle-free for me."

Hotel Lloret Santa Rosa by Pierre & Vacances
8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a great location set back from the main beach promenade. Clean hotel and the staff are nice. Shame you cannot get coffee early in the morning as it’s only included if you purchase breakfast and the bar doesn’t open until 11am. Tea / coffee making facilities in the room would be nice. Luckily we found a local patisserie that served amazing coffee and pastries/ filled rolls etc. Very cheap. Pool Bar - is quite expensive compared to local bars and restaurants. Music around the bar was terrible and always too loud. We love music but it could be a little more beach bar chill for relaxing. Staff friendly though. Rooms- big and clean. Maybe some hooks in the room and on balcony would be helpful for hanging towels and swimwear to dry. Would return to this hotel as we had a nice stay overall."

Costa Encantada Suites & Resort
8/10 Good
"The rooms were excellent, spacious, modern and very comfortable. The buffet was also very good, with plenty of choice, and the hotel in general was clean and well maintained. The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is the price. We paid around £480 for the night, and although we enjoyed our stay, I simply don't think the hotel experience justified that level of pricing. In my view, around £300 per night would have been much more appropriate for this type of hotel. That said, I appreciate we stayed during peak August season and booked at relatively short notice, which will obviously have influenced the rate. Overall, a very good family hotel with excellent rooms and a good buffet, just significantly overpriced for our stay."
