"He had the best time at Los Lagos Hotel! The hot springs were absolutely amazing and beautiful, and the property was very clean. The staff was so nice and welcoming. The food was delicious — we had breakfast at the restaurant, and by the afternoon we were so tired we ordered room service. The restaurant even accommodated a different menu for us, including pizza for the kids, and it was delicious!"

"The farm was so charming—including the goats and pigs! It felt secluded, safe, and had an excellent view of the farm and lake. The staff were sweet and attentive and the food was amazingly tasty."

"A great little hotel! We stayed in a superior room, the bathrooms were on the smaller side but very clean! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Each room had its own mini split and fan so ac wasn’t an issue. There was a nice little morning coffee package provided to make a coffee in the room but every day we received a text asking us what we would like for breakfast the next day. "Before I check in they didn’t tell me that hotel doesn’t have hot water, after check in they told me that system is broke and no hot water until 8 pm but I was there 4 days I had to take shower with cold water and never had hot water several times I complained but always they had a excuse "

"Stunning views from restaurant and room across as far as lake Arenal. All the food offerings were fantastic from breakfast to evening meals using home grown and home made items. Regular supply of wildlife to keep you entertained. Only slight negative was a reasonably long walk up a steep hill to get to the nearest shops etc but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also be aware there is no A/C in the rooms if you are as lucky as we were with the weather."

"The stay was a highlight of COSTA RICA travel. This property gives you a chance to enjoy the combination of a wonderful hotel stay (with breakfast included) and hot springs. Take time and enjoy hot springs in combination with cold water swimming pools. You can spend 2-3 hours in the evening, and same time in the morning just after your breakfast. "

"The staff are helpfull and the Room is ok. However the the fridge was not plugged in and they dont supply coffee for the coffee maker. Room was clean with many beds but its not somewhere to relax in.. just go outside. Its close to town but you still need a car."

"Breakfast was great - lots of variety. Staff was friendly. The room was comfortable but the shower was a bit of a challenge. Scalding hot or too cool but a minor inconvenience. Close to town to enjoy a variety of restaurants and bars but far enough away for quiet evenings."
