"My stay at the Oceanview Hotel was great, but what truly sets it apart is the owner, Edgar, and his wonderful family. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly. We struck up a conversation over lunch at the hotel restaurant—where the food was excellent—and ended up talking about sports. "Not enough towels lots of ants in room, the area was ok i guess seems pretty secured, no staffs latenights early mornings "

"The apartment was in bad shape. The only hot water was the bathroom sink. There was bugs in the apartment. The furniture was falling apart. The apartment lucked like it was under Construction. I would not advise booking a stay here. "

"Love this place, perfect location right on the beach beside the best bar on the beach, on the calmer side of half moon bay (less road traffic). Rooms are simple and cute, good air conditioning all with a little balcony patio, table and chairs and hammock surrounded by manicured jungle and plants, serene but steps away from the action. Staff is lovely and helpful, I picked the perfect spot, highly recommend!"
