"I booked the room for my husband & son who were going to the zoo Tues. morning. The car broke down, stranding them on the road. I contacted the hotel to see if we could get our fee waived due to circumstance (can provide proof of breakdown). They said only Expedia could waive fee. Expedia said it was up to hotel & they spoke to hotel & said I'd get an email. So far, the only email from Hampton is this. "How was your stay?" Well, I really DIDN'T enjoy paying over a hundred and eighty five...

"Loved having kitchenette. Room was large. Bathroom was fairly clean but found long hair at shower base. I have short gray hair and hubby is almost bald. Bathroom was supposed to be for handicap use but no walk in shower. Breakfast was good. Check in and check out were easy and desk people were helpful and friendly. Would suggest night light for bathroom."

"I had booked a db queen bed with a couch and there was no couch. They said oh yes this has been a problem on our websight we have asked them to take the false advertisement down but they haven’t for a year now. Food was cold, they take dishes and clean with the same dirty hands. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone!"

"My husband got stuck in the bathroom due to the cute Barn Door bathroom doors.that slid open and shut on a track. He slid the door shut when he went in, but when he tried to slide it open...it would not open.. I had to go to the check-in desk to get someone to help get the door to open...if I had not been there he would have been stuck in the bathroom for 2days unless someone could have heard him call for help...was scary to think about how easily someone could have been trapped in the...
