"Great for the price"

"Very nice facility, rooms are nice and comfortable. The common areas are often refreshed with some type of smell good. Although the room had a staler smell, after the first night, the room was refreshed with the signature smell good. Breakfast was pretty good; the bacon was nice and crispy. Staff I encountered was very helpful and pleasant."

"The place is seriously dated and in need of upgrades. My curtains were torn and unusable and with the sun beating in on one of those 100 degree days I was nonplussed. A quick discussion with the very accommodating desk clerk had the curtain “fixed” in no time (still needed replacement because it now couldn’t be opened - Lol.) Needed to find a plug and looked behind the nightstand - quite dusty. Breakfast was pretty ok. Staff who checked me out was quite personable. So 10 for the staff,...

"The location of the property was ideal for shopping and restaurants (about 5 minutes to several shopping centers and the mall). It is also not far from Sandy point (about 15 minutes) or Kent Island attractions (about 25 minutes). There is nothing to complain about with the staff who were nice enough. The room and hotel are fine but, to me, were not quite up to the expected standard of a DoubleTree. We didn't use it but there is a convenient shuttle that probably we could have taken advantage of."

"This is our second stay and the first time there was a bridal party staying in the hotel and the groomsmen were having a loud and fantastic time! Mainly in the bar downstairs, but also the hallways and the elevator. But, it was a wedding and so we just kind of went with the flow. "The website versus actual property are not accurate. The hotel looks ran down on the outside but nice looking once inside. Looks as if property was going through renovations and not quite completed. Bathroom showers were not clean, had to be moved to a different room because of a spider nest in the ceiling. Nice staff though, comfy and clean beds. Room overall clean just not my the type of hotel I’d normally chose and it could use some improvements."
