"Very good hotel but too expensive. Parking price was 50$, a rip off. We should have parked with an app. We didn’t expect the surprise in Annapolis. We pay that money in DC or NYC."
"Enjoyed the water, staff was friendly and very informative. Bed was comfortable. I would have liked to have seen more varieties of slot machines. Very disappointed. Everything else was great"
"Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Premium Price!
I paid a premium rate for my stay at the Best Western Annapolis, expecting a higher level of quality and service. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short.
Upon check-in, the front desk staff gave me a hard time about the breakfast for two that I had clearly prepaid through Hotels.com. It was listed on both my confirmation email and receipt, but it didn’t show in their system. They made me wait up to 30 minutes and insisted I email the hotel group a copy of my receipt before finally issuing a breakfast voucher once I returned to my room.
The room itself was basic at best. The lighting was poor, the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, there were no napkins in the basket, and the shower had no shampoo, conditioner, or bath soap. Overall, it felt like a standard budget stay rather than the upgraded experience I anticipated for the price.
Service and attention to detail were lacking throughout. I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a true premium or comfortable stay."
"Hotel is okay but is definitely trying to be luxury when it really isn’t. Charging a deposit of the same price of the room per night is very had to be okay with. Details matter when trying to be a higher end hotel and lots of trim is messed up all around you. Elevator is falling apart. Pool towels extremely small and scratchy."
"When I checked in, breakfast was included. I was advised then that parking was not included. Do most visitors really walk to the hotel or do they bring a car? The receptionist did advise that breakfast was included…. However I was charged for it. I’m checkout, yep, there was a charge and the receptionist advised she would revere the charge. Surprise, it was not reversed….And the hot tub was not working properly. The pump for the hot tub was not working and there was no button to make it work."
