"Very nice"

"My room was tiny, with poor ventilation, and there was no air conditioning. Despite extreme heat, the staff was unsympathetic and disinterested. Very poor customer service, overpriced, and not as advertised."

"We only stayed here for one night and due to circumstances beyond our control, we did not arrive there until 10.30pm. This was a shame as the hotel was really lovely. Front desk staff were welcoming, the room was splendid, large, clean and a very comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Even had 2 chairs to sit on, when so many hotels only supply one. We would have liked to have stayed longer with them but had to move on. If we are ever in the area again, we will certainly spend time there."

"I love Kinsale. This was my first stay at the Old Bank and I loved it too. Magical to sit and look out over this very pretty town and harbour from the window seat in my beautifully appointed room. I’ve never had a better breakfast than the one included; fresh fruit salad (good variety, perfect quality), eggs Benedict (golden yolks and perfectly poached, perfect ham and proper artisan bread toasted, chef quality hollandaise) and a blueberry muffin(with a surprise centre), everything top quality...

"This boutique hotel was outstanding. The rooms are large, the king size bed was comfortable, the bathroom was also large and very clean. The breakfasts are outstanding, second to none. Great service from the staff as well. I highly recommend Perryview House."

"Nice hotel with air conditioning in the rooms. Staff were friendly but only partially helpful. A child was running around and jumping in the room above us well until midnight and the reception only told us they would “check it out but couldn’t guarantee anything.” Did not stop after speaking with them and kept us up so long I got a migraine. One staff member was very helpful and brought me a bag of ice for it. Room was comfy but had some mold in the bathroom. Not sure if I would stay again."

"Can’t fault our few days at the Kingsley! Right on the river Lee, only a 30 minute walk into town and if you take the river walk passed UCC it’s gone in no time, stunning. The hotel staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The food was great and the fresh honeycomb from their own bees with some lovely treacle bread, cannot be missed. A really lovely stay and next time we’re in Cork we know exactly where we’re going to be staying."

"This is a quaint bed and breakfast (although we did not realize breakfast was not included with our Expedia reservation until we arrived). Super convenient to Ballymaloe Cookery School and we enjoyed a short drive to the beach as well. There are very few dining options in the area and everything closed very early so keep that in mind when planning your visit. We drove 30 minutes to find a open restaurant/bar to eat dinner. Wonderful coastal drive back to Dublin through Waterford."
