"I don't like writing reviews that aren't truly delightful, but sometimes reality is not as rosy as information online. We chose Stone Gate Inn because it wasn't a national chain and it had an 8.4 review average. We prefer to support small businesses. I don't know how long the current Stone Gate owners have had the property, and they're clearly working on it, but they really need to be transparent in how they market the facility in their online presence. "Clean room, quiet For the 1 night we needed it...it was fine"

"The owner's and staff are lovely people. Everything is kept clean & tidy; indoors and out. The location and view is excellent. I loved the unique quality of their small shop that offerred up free access to books, games and even a Magic 8 Ball for fun; as well as, affordable jewellery, incense and curios. "The staff are very helpful and friendly. The property is adequately taken care of. Parking is available and plentiful. Breakfast is disappointing but expected in this level of hotel. Close to many restaurants and fast food places."

"Judi breakfast lady on Saturday and Sunday stood out. Despite being busy she gladly washed my Yetti cup for me with a smile every morning of our stay. Great service. Judi never stops where do you find such great staff."
