"Booked last minute for a meeting in Sheffield. Low price and lovely little room. I wasn't aware it was next to university halls though so be aware on weekends I imagine it gets rowdy as the bar in the hotel is open 24 hours (I was told on check in). Also note the car park is small, I arrived at 9pm and struggled to park having to do 2 loops, they'll give you a permit at reception to pop in your windscreen. "My partner and I booked a suite at the Novotel for 2 days as we were visiting Sheffield to watch the World Snooker Semi Finals. The hotel could hardly be better situated for the snooker as it is a 5 minute walk from the Crucible Theatre, right next door to the Winter Gardens.
