"The rooms are advertised as luxury but in my single room there wasn’t a wardrobe or any coat hangers just a cluster of about three hooks hinged together. The food in the Henry VIII restaurant left a lot to be desired only ate the evening meal there on one occasion out of a 4 night stay, the fish and chips were very fatty and the chips were nearly black. "How can they call that a four star Hotel. Its was a very hot day when we checked it , No air condition, and when we arrived in the room it was like an oven, They did not have the curtesy to open a window to try and cool down the room before we arrived. and we were given a small fan which all that did was circulate the hot air around the room, Checked the fan and the pat testing sticker was a year out of date. "Very nice hotel and lovely breakfast too. We were with a toddler so cautious about the noise as there were many reviews about high noise level. When we close the windows, it didn’t bother us. It’s so close to many good restaurants and attractions. So we loved it."
