The only downside which I pointed out two years ago is that the shower lets the room down as it’s not powerful enough and looks dated too. A short taxi ride or lovely walk into the centre with everything you could wish for. Please note valet parking is £39.50 and the Soa £45 per person in addition to the room. "A return to a favourite hotel, looking beautiful with all the Christmas lights and decorations. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The menu had changed slightly and we enjoyed a lovely meal. We will return. "

The room was heated individually, controlled in the room. Breakfast was excellent lots of hot and cold choices. Highly recommend especially due to the onsite parking which is a bonus in York.
