"The sheets and towels were dirty. When asked for more towels for showering and the pool because only 2 towels were in the bathroom and 4 people were booked for the room we were given 2 more and was told that was all they had. Wash clothes were brown, and sheets had dirty on them. Bathroom wall looked like either blood or dirty was on them. When you first turn on the water it was orange. Building smelled like pot. Pool was open and alright but dirt was floating in it. Fridge did not keep...

"I stayed there twice recently as a quick overnight stop on my way from New York to Michigan. It was mostly clean, but some dirt in the corners of the room. We had to ask for extra towels each stay - they stocked the room with one less set than the number of adults both times. It did not appear that the staff thought that the guests would actually want breakfast. "Room was nice. No staff complaints. Breakfast was good, although the juice dispenser wasn't working - staff did get bottled juices for us. Saw the La Quinta signage on building, but no "Entrance/Parking" sign - perhaps we overlooked it. Drove around the block another time before finding it. Parking was tight - as 1 passenger commented, "they didn't waste any space in their parking lot!""

"This has become my go to stay place when traveling east. It is a great hotel with a wonderful staff. Helpful, kind and courteous. The continental breakfast, simple but with a variety. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the showers rock! A quiet stay with amenities and a pool! Conveniently off the highway. Definitely worth the overnight or more stay."

"Very quiet in a great location that is close to shopping, restaurants and only 20 minutes to the State park beaches . Nice to have coffee machine in lobby all day . We Read that Breakfast was really good but it was just okay with scrambled eggs and sausages as the only protein . Also the gym was not really a gym - a few free weights and cardio machines . Even a bench or two would be nice . Still we paid a pretty good price and 30% less than nearby Holiday Inn."

"It was a refurbished property. The location of the property was not ideal. It is good for a night stay if you are on a road trip. Everything else is subpar."

"We had a spacious King room with sofa; balcony Lake view. It was comfortable and clean. They had a mini fridge and every morning each floor from 7am-11am had free coffee/tea by the elevators. If you miss that time frame you could go to the restaurant and ask for some for free. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay with excellent staff and a great view. Would definitely stay again."

"Some staff weren’t very friendly. No one was ever at the front desk. Rooms weren’t the cleanest and looked like a lot of water damage. Lots of peeling walls, under sinks were rotting out. Ice maker didn’t work. Lots of people who weren’t guests were there using the pool and not watching kids."
