"We really enjoyed our stay. The room was so inviting and breakfast was made to perfection. Highly recommend this stay for those who are looking to really relax. "
"Property is older so rooms were small but beds were comfortable. Breakfast had lots of options and it was nice not to have to leave the hotel. We found good restaurants for dinner in Breakin ( Red Skye) & Bradford (Claymore) a 10-15 min drive away.
Kyleakin is a a good hour to the hikes on the Trotternish Peninsula and 30 min to Portree so you need to plan around that travel time.

"Pleasant small hotel adjacent to the Strathcarron Railway Station. Good friendly atmosphere in the bar, and a host who clearly cares that his guests have a good experience."
"Craigard was quite comfortable and well-located. We loved our short stay here! If we ever get back this way, we will definitely be looking at renting this adorable cottage. "

Nestled along a tranquil loch, this Highland village offers spectacular seafood dining and boat trips to spot seals and eagles. Hike the surrounding trails for breathtaking views of the Torridon mountains or join locals for a pint at the village's charming waterfront pub.

"Mark was a great host and the only drawback was getting there.....I was a rookie to the single track roads and we were in a very remote area....the accommodations were excellent ....quiet, view was spectacular, "
"Our room was lovely with a beautiful view over the loch and the Isle of Skye. In spite of being in the middle of a major refurbishment the staff were extremely corteous and helpful and made every effort to ensure our stay was a good one. The room was clean and comfortable with a really good shower and we had a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us on our arrival.. We will certainly make a return visit some time in the near future."
