"I am writing this review and rating the hotel based on the city and location in Japan. I feel the hotel would overall get a 3.5 -4 star rating if it were in a bigger city with more options. The location if the hotel was great. Our room was a bit small. The room amenities were just ok. The lounge was lovely with great snack and food options but closed early. The staff try hard but their English is limited so be patient. The concierge hours are short and her English was very weak. We tried with...

"We love our stay at Kazueya! It gave us a chance to truly experience the ryokan and how locals live. We especially enjoyed the peaceful night in our surroundings :) In addition, one of the staffs (a young lady) at Pacific hotel was super helpful. Due to the language barrier, she helped me to get bus tickets to shirakawago and to Takayama. I can't thank her enough for that! Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay and I've already rated Kazueya 5 stars on Expedia!"

"Recently stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The family room was amazing. 1 double, 1 large twin and 2 twin beds, kitchenette, laundry in room. Room very spacious and suited our needs perfectly. Front staff very friendly with really good English. About a 10 min walk from the Kanazawa station but don’t let that deter you. Highly recommended. "We had a wonderful time, our room is comfortable, clean, and surprisingly spacious!! It was very quiet in the evening and overnight, slept well on a comfortable bed. The hotel is very close to the Higashi Chaya District and about a 20 min walk from the station on the flat, so definitely walkable with luggage.
