"Nice new and clean rooms with all the things you need (not very well insulated though). In the close proximity to the Hotel there wasn't much in matter of eating out or shops, but 10min+ walk would get you where needed. And 20min+ walk to either of nearest train stations. But overall it was a pretty good value."

"We stayed here for 2 weeks. It was within a 10 minute walk from my family, which was the reason for our stay. Across the street from the railway station, which was great for us. Laundry facilities. Single rooms are snall but convenient, and quiet. Limited English amongst staff. Tub/shower unit has high sides which may be hard for some to get unto to use. Wonderful selection for breakfast, and within walking distance to McDonalds , KFC , Bronco Billy's. For visitors from outside of Japan, please remember the counrty you are visiting and be respectful. Would stay here again."

"The room is a repurposed office, so the shape is a little unusual having a full window as the wall facing the road. This is covered by a curtain. If you need to sleep in total darkness, it may be a little uncomfortable. The curtain blocked the light enough for us to sleep comfortably though. The location gives great walking access to the castle and train station. There are trains and buses to different cultural attractions. There was a short fireworks show every evening from about 8:30 to 9 (in the beginning of August.) We had a great view from the walking bridge over the main road just a two minute walk from the apartment. The fireworks were set off far from the apartment, so it was not too loud. Local restaurants were not great, but there was a super market where we could pickup things for breakfast. The small refrigerator and microwave made it easy to keep and heat food without using the “kitchenette” which had a 500 yen extra fee for its use. Near the castle and other attractions, restaurants were very good. "
