"Good location close to highway for those not wanting to go all the way into Gladstone. Cabin was good just had some external damage to the outside wall that hadn't been repaired but did not impact the inside amenities which were comfortable and fit for purpose."

"What a great hotel. The manager was fabulous. We were upgraded to a villa for the week. Spacious room and bed was very comfortable. Right next to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was grand. Thanx Liri. "

"Our cabin was clean & roomy. The queen bed & pillows were very comfy.
They provided good quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash & body moisturiser.
Plenty of empty cupboard space for our pantry goods & adequate wardrobe for our needs.
Sofa couch could have been more comfy but was ok.
Loved staying here & would definitely come back."

"Heron Island is amazing destination but the property is starting to look tired. It is very expensive to eat, 1 restaurant (breakfast, lunch&dinner)& 1 bar, opens at 10am with limited food if fridge works!!. Same breakfast everyday is $35pp. Cafe style coffee for 2 $15, didn't have lunch. Dinner for 2 with 2 drinks and 1 dessert around $100.
Diving and snorkelling was great. 1 dive $150pp & $50 for snorkelling from a boat.
Free at high tide unless you hire snorkelling equipment.

"One of the rooms they put us in had a damaged front door which we found out it was damaged the night before , the manger try to screw the door back together but it was busted so they not only moved us but also next door as they had there door kick. The other room was ok but had a smell and didn’t have a smoke detector just the mounting plate."

"What a lovely spot right near the highway good stopover for the night. Best around the area. Shame you can have two adults two kids stay though max is 3 I was told."
