"Good location close to highway for those not wanting to go all the way into Gladstone. Cabin was good just had some external damage to the outside wall that hadn't been repaired but did not impact the inside amenities which were comfortable and fit for purpose."

"Heron Island is amazing destination but the property is starting to look tired. It is very expensive to eat, 1 restaurant (breakfast, lunch&dinner)& 1 bar, opens at 10am with limited food if fridge works!!. Same breakfast everyday is $35pp. Cafe style coffee for 2 $15, didn't have lunch. Dinner for 2 with 2 drinks and 1 dessert around $100. "What a lovely spot right near the highway good stopover for the night. Best around the area. Shame you can have two adults two kids stay though max is 3 I was told."

"One of the rooms they put us in had a damaged front door which we found out it was damaged the night before , the manger try to screw the door back together but it was busted so they not only moved us but also next door as they had there door kick. The other room was ok but had a smell and didn’t have a smoke detector just the mounting plate."
