Only spent 1 night. Typical Toyoko Inn room - small but clean. Bathroom tap can only be used for sink or shower at one time. Good AC unit with quiet fan. Convenient location 2 blocks from the train station/wharf area. Awesome 24h supermarket next door.

It's a good budget hotel if you want to visit Shizuoka and stay cheaply. Shimizu itself, there's not a lot to look at, so have to commute back to Shizuoka on train.

I think the bed need a few more pillows and perhaps a sheet and duvet. The hallway is noisy in the morning for those sleeping. Slamming doors put a slow close fixture on the doors.

First of all this is not a place to stay if you are looking for comfort.The rooms are very small and so are the bathrooms . The carpet was filthy. I had to wear my slippers all the time the beds are very uncomfortable. The staff are ok. Breakfast was nothing to write about as the first day we went down about 7.00am there was a lot of choices for Japanese guests but hardly anything for other people. Scrambled eggs and buns that is all . No fruit or juice or yogurt. I was baffled as to why they had a copy of the bible in the room.

くふうハヤテベンチャーズ静岡の秋季キャンプ観戦で使用。コスプレ大会と重なって混雑なうえ異様な服装の客層に不安を覚えたが、駅から近くて便宜。サービスについて荷物預かりが簡単になったが、早いもの勝ちなのだろうか？この辺は気になった。 施設は、ドライヤーが弱いことと、トイレの便座が小さ過ぎことと、ボディシャンプーと手洗い用洗剤が水で薄めたかのような薄さ。このためマイナス。
