"The room was very clean, and tastefully decorated. Bathroom was extremely clean. The hotel is located very close to both town centre and train station. Staff very helpful.

"We arrived a little early but Sarah was very accommodating and personally showed us to our room (The Coleridge Room) and other facilities at the property. Our room was very clean and tidy. Our bed at home is large but the one in the room was VERY wide (and proved very comfortable)! The ensuite facilities were very good as were the toiletries provided. "Not so much as a hand soap dispenser which I wish they had made clearer when booking as I did smell and needed a shower. Too far from anywhere to ‘nip out’ for essentials such as soap. Room smelled musky and the windows would not open more than an inch. No fan provided."

"We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again.
