"This is an older hotel. It was clean, but had old features and fixtures. The worst part were the low to the ground toilets! They were kid sized. There were no elevators. We had to lug our suitcases up a long flight of stairs. We are in our mid 70’s. It was OK only, in our opinion."

"Excellent location excellent staff everything is very good and I definitely recommend this to stay with the family."

"We wanted a hotel near Big Sur. This was 40 min away. No wifi in the area so finding it in the dark was near impossible. The listing should give a mile reading on the remote road. Expedia should not consider this big sur. There should be some warnings about how difficult it is to find in the dark. Very poor markings. We drove past 20 min and had trouble finding it. Accommodation very basic."

"Everything about the motel was great, the location, helpful and nice staff, and even how clean and nice the rooms are, however the singular issue i had was the fact that there was no AC. The room had a heater unit and a ceiling fan but thats it, so on a hot night it difficult to stay cool, we had to turn on the ceiling fan and open the windows all night and it was still hot. Otherwise great hotel"
