"The private pool is not private. It is near the walkways so everyone walking by can see into the pool/your room. The bar on the roof deck is small and the seats are not comfortable. The staff was awful, unfriendly, rude, and acted as we were bothering them. From the moment we arrived it was really disappointing."

"The resort was so nice and perfect for our family of 5. We were in walking distance of restaurants and a small grocery store that has amazing breakfast. The lady that works the day shift ( I believe her name was Matilda) was so helpful and also helped us schedule a golf cart and an excursion making it super easy for us. We will be back to this resort for sure! "

"I enjoyed my stay at this property. Its a smaller 2 story place with that Old Florida look and vibe. It's not luxury but my Queen Suite lodging was perfect for me. Two good-sized rooms with daily maid service. The bed was nice and firm. The breakfast was rather simple- good if you just needed a quick bite to start the day. "The Historic Inn was charming. Stayed on the 4th floor of the Mansion. A hike up but really was no problem. Loved the excellent morning breakfast and sitting by the pool seeking or evading the sun! Used 2 bikes to go watch a sunrise. Surreal! Could walk all around Duvall Street without feeling unsafe. Only negative was the music in a bar establishment on the other side of the property’s pool wall was obtrusive if you didn’t like the live talent. Started mid afternoon and went to 11:00. "

"The breakfast is a nice treat. The pool and hot tub area were clean and very much appreciated after walking the town. The only thing I could say needs improvement is the front steps are very steep and the railing is low. The rest was beautiful."

"We had to rooms across the street at a home they own. We were only there for 1 night. Everything was great except maybe the very thin windows. It is an old house and I don’t think there is much they can do to make it better. The noise inside was like you had a window open all night. The roosters will wake you up in the middle of the night and so will any neighbors that come home at 2 am or leave at 7 am. Other than that everything was great. "The rooms were clean but there is absolutely no parking.I had to drive around for an hour to find a spot that was two blocks away from my room. Other than that, the location was good."
