The hotel asked for the deposit higher than the real room rate but did not return the overcharge at the time of checkout, instead they said the overcharge would be returned later. When is "later"? "I’m from the USA. I booked 3 rooms through Expedia and the app did not say anything about smoking or nonsmoking rooms. When we checked in, they gave us all smoking rooms! I requested a change and the front desk manager originally said they were fully booked and could not change. I explained the situation and begged. "This was a fabulous location right in the downtown Singapore close to orchard road with breakfast every day. The quality of the hotel was first rate the rooms had everything including very good toiletries and extremely comfortable beds. It was thoughtfully laid out a small fridge for cold water. It exceeded our expectations."
