"We had a wonderful stay here. I especially loved that the guesthouse offers a fully equipped kitchen that guests can use for free, along with complimentary laundry facilities and a coffee dispenser. The place was spotless, and the beds were clean, fresh, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Seyðisfjörður."

"So we rented the apartment version of this hotel . It was lovely. Had a bedroom a living area that also had a bed . Dining table and full kitchen and bathroom . The listing gets confusing due to the other reviews but there are two versions the apartment version where you are o ly with your group and then the rent a room with a community living and kitchen area . The full apartment was great and a great little village ."

"The room at the Hildibrand Hotel was spacious, clean, and comfortable. While the shower was extremely small, it did have excellent water pressure. Be aware that this is a self-check-in hotel with no front desk staff on-site. That made it especially frustrating when we experienced problems with the room door lock. "Pro: guests cleaned up after themselves all the spaces were clean. Shoes off at the door you have to switch into indoor slippers. Very well equipped shared kitchen. Didn't have to wait long to use bathrooms/showers since there were multiple. Convenient location to shops and restaurants. Con: way too noisy. Even though we had our own room it felt like a true hostel. Might as well pay more if you're looking for good rest. The heavy doors will slam shut every few minutes and it's not soundproof....

The hotel is a bit outdated, I had A five bunk beds private room for 4 people, no desk or shelf, but I used one bed to put stuff, works fine. Bathroom setup more like campground, individual room has door and curtain. Press button once hot water comes down, but only last 5-10 seconds. I have to repeatly press button. Kitchen has cookwares, utensil and plates. Range stove only has one out of 4 stove...

"After I read some of reviews, I expected that hotel would be not very nice. It actually suprized me and my 19/21 kids. They enjoy two story room with their beds in the loft and spiral staircase that brought them upstairs. It is also interesting to be inside school like building. Parking is free and plenty. Property well maintained and there are working elevators. We had to pay additional fee for city tax in addition to what Expedia charged us."
