This was an odd property, more like a hostile or a room rental in a person's home than a hotel, but it served my needs, it was clean, safe, and was conveniently located for being far from Oslo (only a 10 minute direct train to downtown). Forenom Aparthotel Oslo
Check in and check out were smooth, room was clean. Around 10p my room started smelling strongly of smoke - my guess was that someone in a neighboring room might have been smoking? Unsure. The smell came and went. Unfortunate considering everything else about my stay was wonderful.

Frogner House - Skovveien
We stayed in a large studio for 3 nights on the second floor. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and accessible. Showers had good water pressure and ran hot, the bathroom was large enough to move around, had a fan, large windows, and closet space, and great L’occitaine amenities. ...
