"This is a 5 star hotel and it is very good and has a fantastic breakfast with a huge choice. However, there were a few niggly aspects: our room did not have tea or coffee making facilities as not all rooms have them; no water was provided in the room apart from on the first day; our room wasnt cleaned even though the beds were made and in order to get to the indoor pool (which is very nice) guests are obliged to walk outside even in heavy rain, when they could walk through the restaurant. "Hotel is very nice, clean, with very polite and helpful staff. It is very close (5-10 min drive) to all monasteries, so it has perfect location. Breakfast buffet is great with variety of options to choose from. Parking on the street is in general available but may be challenging if you have bigger car. There are several dinner options within walking distance in local taverns as well as nice restaurant at the hotel."

"This is almost like an apartment because there is a shared courtyard, but otherwise we had our own room with bathroom and kitchenette. It has good views of the stones from the courtyard, but the hotel faces the mountains. This was not a problem!
There is lots to eat in the local area, including a cafe at the bottom of the immediate hill for breakfast. The taverna at the bottom was our favourite for meals, and there is another one with a garden view that was good for whiling away a few hours...

For budget accomodation it offered a lot, it was clean and way above basic standard. A car would have been very helpful, however we were still able to access food and shops on foot.
Staff were helpful .

"This is a very unique property. It has a rather monastic feel. Very sparse and simple furnishings, quality of mattress, bed linens, pillows, towels were exceptionally clean crisp and simply great. Bathroom was small but effective.
Cannot wait to go back and will reger this place to anyone thinking about visiting magical Meteora."
