"Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) "

"This is a lovely reasonably priced Pension. The people are so nice. They do pick up from the airport which is great. It is walkable to and from the port and the shops, but beware, it is uphill and has steep steps, as is expected in Skiathos as it's on a hill. Fine if you don't have a suitcase but difficult if you do. The terrace on top of the Pension is stunning as you get a view over the roofs of the town. Have google translate ready when you check in as this was very helpful communicating...

"1 min walk from Skiathos harbour bus stop.This hotel is just before you get to town & harbour.Everything is within easy walk- you can take harbourside walk into town or be adventurous and take back streets. Beaches 22 mins walk (google) although that is an average and we did it in about 15mins. Ramp & steps to hotel from street. Room was large and spacious with long balcony .Staff were Fantastic and breakfast was AMAZING! Rooftop pool with double loungers, pool towels supplied. This hotel allows...

"We had a wonderful week at Eye Q Resort. The host, Stavros, was very nice and helpful and the accommodation was super cozy. Stavros picked us up at the airport and he even drove us on to the next hotel on Skiathos when our week was over."

"Love this property, the bedding n towels are changed every other day, katrina is so lovely , the view from our appointment was wow, walking distance is sound. The only thing i would say is it's up quite a steep slope n steps , so u need 2 be quite agile "
