"I reserved a few townhouses for me & my large family. They were very impressed. No other hotels have an origami butterfly on their toilet paper. Staying in a two story hotel room was certainly unique & fun. It provided extra privacy and the extra space that we needed. It was wonderful. The fireplace was a romantic bonus. My only suggestion, is cosmetic. Some of the bathrooms & furniture needs a little extra love. I will definitely come back again & again!"

"Customer service is the worst I’ve experienced at a hotel. Expedia should drop this place. My friend I was going to stay with had a cancer emergency and they would not let us out of the reservation, even with five days notice. The front desk person was rude in our conversations and couldn’t care less."

"We really liked it here! It is very convenient to the Monterey aquarium and Cannery Row area. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cute and clean. My only complaint is that the outside lights shined right inside the room because they only have shutters, not any kind of blackout curtains or shades, so the room never really got dark at night. Luckily, I always travel with an eye mask. Other than that, I thought it was a great...

"Loved the breakfast they left at the door. Property was nice but no elevator or stairs and apparently, it is common in Carmel to have no air conditioning. This property did not have it and it was warm. They gave us a floor fan but it was not very effective. Also going up and down two flights of stairs was a chore, although the staff did bring our bags up when we arrived. We did bring everything down. We had a lovely stay though."

"We are here for the second time and are having a wonderful time again. The staff is very friendly and polite, and the room is clean and spacious enough. Especially if you have a balcony with an ocean view. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Be ready to pay an additional for parking $25, but parking is important for that busy area. Definitely will return to this place again. Thanks a lot for people who support comfort in this hotel."
