Khách sạn Slamannan , Falkirk

"Lena was a wonderful receptionist. She went above and beyond."

"Dirty room with old stained carpet. Bed was terrible and the pillows were the cheapest I have ever seen. Don’t stay here unless you can get drunk to tolerate it. Almost nothing nearby as well in terms of restaurants or attractions"

"Good place to stop off the highway- close to Glasgow"

"On first appearance this looks like an upmarket period property. We were in the garden wing which is not attached to the main building, so you have to go outside to get back in the main building for breakfast etc. Our room was large, but the bed was barely big enough for two people, so even turning over was a problem. The main problem however was the smell. As we opened the door it smelt like we'd entered a swimming pool - the chlorine smell was overpowering. With hindsight I should have gone...

"I stayed for a night in early August. Had an evening meal for which there was no ‘service’ charge added. I stayed again at the end of August & had an evening meal only this time there was a ‘service’ charge of 10% added. I challenged this only to be told “it is on the menu”. It was not ‘on the menu’. The charge was returned but why was it there to start with & nothing to alert you to what I was later told was a discretionary payment! The receptionist on each visit was fantastic. The restaurant...

"The hotel I"

"The gal at the front desk was amazing, I’d only had three hours of sleep because I went to the Prodigy gig the night before and then I decided this was a decent place to crash for the night. I got in early and while I was willing to sleep in my car until time to check in, she went above and beyond to get me sorted. There was also a really lovely lady who was working on my floor doing housekeeping who I chatted with briefly. She told me to go in and get my head down, and was just so friendly....

"We were disappointed in how basic our Premier Queen room was. The room was clean and modern. However there was no facilty to make tea or coffee, no water in the room, little space and we didn't realise that we had to jig around under the ceiling sensor to keep the power on! In any case the lighting was very poor. I imagine the lack of space would make it dangerous to use a kettle."

"Room was clean. We had an accessible room. The shower is of no use to an accessible person. Poor shower. Cannot turn the shower on unless you have a good grip! The leisure facilities are appalling. There is some considerable amount of maintenance required."

"It was a pleasant surprise, the location, facilities, breakfast, everything much better than expected."

"Outdated. Small. Unhelpful when needed something that wasn’t normal check in or check out"

"Great location."

"We enjoyed this beautifully decorated & centrally located hotel. It has a stylish, contemporary vibe with very large rooms and luxury finishes. We had an Explorer room & it was facing the main street. It was very noisy at night, so keep that in mind. The hotel staff was charming! We highly recommend this hotel including the morning breakfast in the rooftop dining room!"
