"Vi ankom på hotellet og købte billetter i receptionen til grotten inden vi skulle checke ind og det var en rigtig god oplevelse. Da vi kommer på værelset var det ikke ordentligt rengjort og uden udsigt og det rettede receptionen op på Lie med det samme med et nyt værelse med god udsigt, uden problemer. På hotels.com hjemmeside er der et billede af borgen og der står beskrevet på billedet “udsigt fra overnatningsstedet” hvilket er helt forkert da billedet er fra en kaffe bar ved slottet ca 9-10...
"The Savoia Excelsior Palace Trieste provided an overall excellent experience. The check in was extremelly fast. They stored our luggage for us to have lunch while waiting for our check in time. Staff was extremelly friendly and helpful. They recommended excellent places to visit within walking distance as well as dining that was superb. Great location. We felt safe walking at night. Great views, great hotel. Higly recommended! "
"Virkeligt et skønt hotel. Super sødt personale alle steder og super serviceminded.
Nogen skrev, at værelserne er små. Vi boede på et almindeligt dobbeltværelse og det var ikke enormt, men vi havde nok plads og det var jo ikke der, vi brugte vores tid mest. Rigtig god seng også og et flot værelse. Vi kom før tid og blev opgraderet til hav-udsigt, hvilket var sødt af dem. Alternativt var det udsigt til en anden bygning formentligt.
God restaurant på hotellet, som ligger super centralt og tæt på...
"The outside of the hotel is unimpressive, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The ocean side ones have balconies with lovely Adriatic Sea views. The hotel faces the beach which is about a block away. It provides unattached beach chairs and umbrellas for the day for 20 euros, but no beach towels. The beach area has easy access to the water by steps or a ladder. There are two convenient shaded cafes, a gelato stand and a nice play area for children.

"We had the mist wonderful stay here and I cannot speak more highly of the beautiful cottage or the hospitality provided. We were welcomed from the first instance and made to feel completely at home. The location is divine and the cottage is incredibly well equiped, cosy and comfortable. We were a bit weary of hotel room living and this very spacious accomodation with ability to sit by the fire, wash our clothes and cook our own meals was a real treat. The products made by the farm were fabulous...
