"We had a great stay at Rum Doodle, a friendly welcome on arrival we were shown to our room. We stayed in Wish, which was clean, well equipped and we loved the quirky decor and nice village views. Great shower! The only minor issue we found was the 4-poster bed was quite creaky, and some noise from other rooms but that's just the nature of the building, and it was very quiet overnight so we slept well. "We had the most wonderful stay at Ambleside Townhouse. We stayed for 5 nights in the family room as it was the last room they had when booking. We were glad as it was a beautiful spacious room with two beds. We only used one which was a superking and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and even though we didn’t really need much they were always there to answer anything with a friendly reply. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.
