"The view overlooking Oslo is breathtaking. The hotel rooms are NOT made for couples. The rooms are ridiculously small. The toilets were so uncomfortable because the sink was literally in your lap. Lifting suitcases up and down three flights of stairs was not fun, since there isn’t an elevator on the property."

We are not young… With no access to the far side of the bed (because it’s in an alcove) I had to crawl over my partner every time I got in and out of bed. Ugh. Also no mini fridge so couldn’t keep yummy food in take out container cold. A small selection of beverages and snacks (as other hotel rooms provide) would have been nice."

"A basic 2 single bed room with basic amenities being a kitchenette and bathroom. No tea towel, no floor mat for bathroom. Guest must strip sheets off bed and sweep apartment. Bed average comfort and room is looking tired from age and no recent renovations. Self check in via a hotel phone so no staff present to assist with anything. Not situated in a very nice neighborhood but 7 min walk to train station is 2 stops to central station."

"Clean room, but very small and a bit weirdly laid out. Not a huge problem though, as we didn’t spend much time in there apart from sleeping. Hotel is in a gorgeous location, and it’s nice to be away from the really busy tourist areas in the city - made for a quiet sleep. Breakfast is fantastic, and was so good to have as part of the stay. "I enjoyed the room at Sommerro. It was clean, comfortable bed and unique interior. The breakfast was great. The spa that was included with my room was not worth the hype. I found the corridors and layout with multiple doors and walls difficult to use and not relaxing at all. I would have been better off using my own gym sauna at home and skipping the experience here entirely. If I had known this, I might have paid extra for the top floor spa, but I would probably not return to try it out in the...
