"The location of the property is excellent for getting onto the road networks to visit the major attractions. The reception was very welcoming and took time to answer our questions.
Our room was excellent. There was a very good bathroom with a powerful shower. The separate bedroom had space to put things and the bed was comfortable. There was a nice seating area.
We had a 5 night stay to visit the local area and very much appreciated the self catering facilities. The large fridge was a bonus: the ice maker didn’t work, but there was an ice maker near the lobby, so not a problem. Two mugs were provided, but no glasses. Ok if you don’t mind having your cold drinks out of cardboard cups. Walmarts was a short car journey away to get groceries.
Breakfast was very good and unlike many places we have stayed at, changed each day. We appreciated the range of teas on offer as well as the yoghurts and choice of muffins.
This is not unique to the Grandstay at all, but the amount of single use plastic is quite disturbing.
Overall, though, a great place to stay and would seriously recommend it.
